SANDA - a fighting sport-
THAI BOXE - muay thai or boxe thailandese -

SANDA (Chinese kick boxing) and THAI BOXING are modern training methods which aim at the practise of real fighting as they develop vital requisites for a healthy and active body, such as physical stamina, strength, speed and good reflexes.

These two sports sum up all the kicking and boxing basic techniques, the ones of the elbow and knee resort and great part of the Chinese and Thai hand-to-hand fighting methods that are used to project the opponent.

Great emphasis is put on physical training as it is fundamental to be powerful in boxing and to endure physical effort and pain.

Various types of protections are used to guarantee the practise to be real as well as the athletes’ safety.

Besides giving the real fighting efficacy, a serious training of these disciplines assures the trainee a superb condition:
- increase of the tendons’ and joints’ elasticity
- muscular strengthening
- reflexes, coordination and concentration development
- total physical and mental control

These two disciplines are a great training system for dynamic women who wish to keep fit and at the same time learn useful self defence techniques.
